Typically you'll start FRSFileMgr via the Start menu or by double-clicking on the Desktop icon. If nothing happens, right-click on the Start menu command, or right-click on the Desktop icon and select the "Troubleshoot compatibility" menu command. For later versions of Windows, including Windows 10, you will need to use Windows Explorer (the file manager) and find the FRSFileMgr.exe executable file (when found, right-click on it and select the "Troubleshoot compatibility" menu command). Follow the instructions and allow Windows to adjust the compatibility mode of the application. For Windows 10 you may need to select that this program worked in a previous version of Windows, and select "Windows 7". This should only need to be done once.
If, when you try to run the application, you encounter an error message stating that "msvcr100.dll" is not found, please download and install the Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Re-distributable Package. We have decided not to include those files in our installation program, so that it is significantly smaller, and because most users will already have those files installed on their computer.
