FRSPhotoGrabber is a software tool that makes it easy to download sequentially-numbered image files from a web site. Note that whether or not you are allowed to download such files is a legal issue between you and that web site's owner.
Sometimes you come across an image/photo file on a web site and you want to download it for your own personal use. For example, it may be one of a set of photos that show you how to install or repair something. Usually, the web site owner will name such files in a sequential manner (e.g. "Photo1.jpg", "Photo2.jpg", "Photo3.jpg", etc.). Downloading each of those files manually is a bit tedious. If you can determine that the only difference between the file names is the number at the end of the file name, FRSPhotoGrabber can download them all for you automatically.
The application has a small window with just a few data entry fields.
You need to supply the web site address of where the file or files are to be found, select the folder on your computer to where you would like to download those files, and then specify the first and last names of the files to attempt to download. You can guess at the sequential file names, because FRSPhotoGrabber will only download those files it found on the web site's server, and notify you of the ones it didn't find.
When you press the Download button, the downloading will commence, if the files exist, as shown here. As each is downloaded, the file is selected and shown in a small preview window.
Note that it is entirely possible that a file you specify to have FRSPhotoGrabber download could contain viruses, malware, adware, or other nasties. Although this is rare with image files, it is still a possibility, so you are forewarned. Use FRSPhotoGrabber with caution and only on reputable web sites. And, be sure that your anti-virus software is always up to date.
To keep the main window of FRSPhotoGrabber as small as possible, additional functionality is available via the application's system menu. This menu can be accessed by clicking on the application's icon in the very top, left corner of the window. When the menu displays, you will see the standard six Windows menu commands. All of the remaining menu commands are custom to FRSPhotoGrabber and offer you additional functionality to the application.
