This was the view visitors had to the event. We were right smack in front of the front door. This is a small venue so we only used our core ten modules; four curves, and six straights for the freight yard on the left side and the passenger yard on the right side.
This was the view from the opposite side looking toward the museum's main entrance. Behind the camera's position are doors leading to the museum's collection of real engines, freight and passenger cars, and railroad equipment, as well as a separate building housing artifacts and a nice HO-scale layout. Bob and Jerry are conversing in the foreground.
The freight yard is full of trains and individual cars. In the foreground track a double-headed long passenger train is flying by, while in the second mainline a freight train is heading towards us. Don and Ron are having a conversation on the right-hand side.
This low-angle view covers part of the farm scene in our of corner modules, viewing toward the passenger station scene.
In the passenger yard two trains are waiting to load or unload passengers, while a freight train passes on the left. The last three box cars on the freight train are all new M.T.H. box cars released this year.
